Jeneba Kanneh-Mason

Jeneba Kanneh-Mason is a rising star in her own right, having made her debut at the Proms in 2022.  In 2018 she was a BBC Young Musician, Keyboard Category Finalist. 

 

As a member of the exceptionally talented Kanneh Mason family, she has also taken part in a number of tours and musical events, including 2022 tours of Australia, New Zealand, the Caribbean.

Jeneba’s programme on 6th October will include:

 

SHOSTAKOVICH: Prelude and Fugue in D Major 

PROKOFIEV: 10 Pieces from Romeo and Juliet

BEETHOVEN: Piano Sonata in D Major

A relaxed and informal evening, with bar and snacks, and the mellow sounds of Will Rees-Jones and his ensemble.

 

Will Rees-Jones is a London/Somerset based saxophonist and composer, currently studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with a scholarship. He previously attended Wells Cathedral School as well as being part of the National Youth Jazz Collective.
