It is with great regret that we have made the decision to cancel this year’s Egerton Music Festival.

Even though we hope that we will all be able to move about with a little more freedom by the end of June, larger gatherings must surely wait until safety can be assured.

We hope we may be able to arrange a festival in mid-June 2021 and will circulate more details on our plans as soon as possible.

In the meantime, thank you for all of your support and stay safe and well.

GOOD GNUS

David Flood, Jon Williams and Chris Price

THURSDAY 2 JULY - MILLENNIUM HALL

7.30pm

The Good Gnus will entertain you with a fun sequence of comic songs and duets from the pens of Tom Lehrer, Stilgoe and Skellern, Noel Coward and Flanders and Swann. The light-hearted and refreshing programme brings the best of wit along with some innuendo here and there!

Jon Williams (baritone) and Chris Price (tenor) have been well-known soloists in Kent for many years and are both long-standing members of Canterbury Cathedral choir. Involved in education for their day jobs, they revel in the variety and comic skill shown by the masters of English comic song - it provides such a good balance and distraction! They are accompanied at the piano by David Flood, Organist and Master of the Choristers at Canterbury Cathedral.
